efi fuel question

eddie i have a 08 rmz 450 just installed a set of web cams,high compression piston and a ported head.i know i will need to run higher octane fuel just wondering if i would benefit from oxygenated fuel

why do you think you need high octane fuel? yes,you added compression but you also added more agressive cams which increase over lap and duration. your motor is likely more tolerant of pump fuel than it was stock now.

oxygenated fuels are great for making power,but you will find that they arent high octane which is good.

hey thanks for your insight did not think of that. just always do when i put a hi comp piston.i know that with carb bike the oxygenated fuel works well just want to make sure it also works well on a efi bike. thanks for your help

yes,it does but you will need to make sure you do not leave it in the bike when it sits.
