Having trouble starting '86 LT250R

let's start with posting the results of a compression test. The piston and rings may "look" good but your eye can't see a few thousanths of an inch of wear.

Remember to hold the throttle wide open when testing and kick until the gauge does go up any more.

You know, if you can't remember when the last top end job was done, just do one. The cost isn't that much.
