Saying hello.

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have been using ThumperTalk as a resource for years and I have finally joined. This is my first Thread and I would just like to introduce myself and say hello.

My name is Erick (Abroktu is my springer spaniel) I am 31 and have been riding street bikes since I was 15 1/2

I currently own a 2001 DR-Z400s and a BMW boxercup #31. I had an opportunity to buy a DRZ in 2001, But I got a YZF600R instead. In 2008 I sold the YZF and in 2009 I got the DRZ. The DRZ is the most fun bike I have ever owned. I am always impressed with this bike. I did a lot of research and read many reviews and the DRZ has exceeded all my expectations.

I can't wait to explore ThumperTalk more deeply.

Here are other great DRZ information sites.

Welcome to the forum, Erick! Glad to hear you're loving your DR-Z. I'm with you, each weekend that I take my bike to the trails, the more impressed I become with it.

I rode Georgetown with two guys on WR450s and they each commented "I'm impressed with how well that thing managed on these trails, considering the weight." I don't think they realize that it's not that much heavier than their bikes, it just carries more of it up high (or at least that's my take). Bottom line: DR-Z is a great bike!
