1984 z50 replacement engine?

Looking for any information I get on replacement engine options for a 1984 Honda z50? Preferably something that is as close to hook up and go as possible.

The reason:

I have 2 1984 Honda z50's that my dad bought new for me and my brother. We have kept them in good shape all these years. I was 12 when we got the bikes and rode the heck out of them and now I've even rode my son around on the bikes with me. Well the hurricane 18 months ago finally killed the bikes:foul: Sitting under 6ft. of saltwater for hours will do that. We cleaned them up as best we could after the storm, but obviously the engines have sat and are ruined, but the bikes roll and the brakes work and the rust is minimal.

I'd like to get them running again. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Check out www.DrATV.com or www.hondatrailbikes.com. They both have the parts you need to either rebuild your engine, or put a chinese repop on it.

I believe all Honda 50 & 70 cc engines are dimensionally the same going back to 1969, so just about any Honda engine from any year should bolt in.

lifan 50's 70's 90's 110's and 125 you can get these with combo kit's for between 250-400 usd carbs and everything needed all will hook right up and go best part is the china honda clone engines have a 4 speed instead of a 3 speed
