What size leak on 08 CRF250R?

I just pulled out my leak, and there is a 70 in there. What size should I go down to? A 40? Thanks for any help.

Why do you want to change it? What type of riding do you do? What problems are your experiencing?

I just tried a 45 leak in my crf150r and it was too small, the pump squirt was lasting too long. I'd try a couple sizes smaller (than the 70) instead of jumping down to a 40. I'm assuming he's trying to work out some bog.

Hard to start/bogging. I had a 30 leak laying around, no bog, but impossible to start now. Valves are 100% in spec.

I had to go leaner on the pilot screw when I put the smaller leak in. The leak did cure the bog, but it also caused a hanging idle, hence why I think the AP squirt was lasting too long.

Leak jet has nothing to do with startup, idle or steady state running. It only comes into play when you are accelerating.

I suggest replacing the pilot jet with a new one, same size as is currently in it.
