YZ 125 motor Question

I just bought a used 1996 yz125 after my last 1996 was stolen. Went riding this weekend and got to really looking at the bike and noticed so differences in the motor and the carb. I was wondering if there is any way to identify the motors year by the motors serial number. I also don't remember seeing TMX on the carb on my other 96 so is this a stock carb or an aftermarket one. I'm also wondering about the card jetting? The bike has a PC platinum pipe with a PC 304 SS Silencer. I live and ride most of the time around 200 ft above sea level so I wondering what the jetting should be? I ride mostly trails with a little MX here and there.

I found this web site and it gave me the answer about the motor. It is the stock motor but I am still wondering about the carb and the jetting but mainly because of a small spooge problem I am having. Any body got any helpful hints.

What is your current jetting? I may be able to point you in the right direction...
