xr100 misfire?

When I floor it in 5th gear it misfires. I replaced the oil, spark plug, chain, and sprockets when I got it. Any help?

Check the wiring. Look for a frayed wire or dirty connections. Be sure and clean the ground wire to the frame.

As I always say, start by giving it a tune-up.

1) Check the valve clearance and adjust to spec

2) Clean air filter

3) Pull the carb and give it a good cleaning, it must be spotless. Make sure you can clearly see through both the pilot and the main jet when held up to a light source. Be very meticulous.

any videos on how to check the valves and clean the carb? i cleaned the air filter already.
