Change in elevation. Problem firing her up.

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have recently moved my 450x from So Cal to Southern Utah. Fires up instantaneously when in close to sea level and sometimes gives me a bit of a headache up in the high desert. It started the first day it arrived here in UT but has since not started. It will turn over a few times with the choke on but never enough to keep the engine running. Any help/advice, etc. would be appreciated. 👍

- adjust fuel screw

- fresh gas

- re-jet (especially if stock)

Great! Does anyone know what the specs would be for my jetting at 6000 feet? And what about my fuel screw?

We don't know what you have now.

You need a JD jetting kit, uncork your exhuast, and adjust your fuel screw.
