The quote I'm looking at has the appropriate info before it is posted although it's scattered all over the page. Anyone else see this? If I copy & paste I then see this before i post.

  • 3 weeks later...

Are these 6 mm ID shims on the mid valve and 8 mm ID shims on the base valve?

The problem that you're having is that when you copied the text from the source page, your browser pulled a whole bunch of HTML formatting code with it. If it shows up like that, it's because the full WYSIWYG editor on the board software sees it but doesn't treat it as code, it just displays it. To avoid the problem, use the icon at the upper left corner ("Toggle editing mode") to switch to a simple text mode that will not, in most cases, display the code tags. You can flip it back once you've pasted if you want.

If I put in the values for a 2009 YZ250F posted here and make it a baseline then compared it to a 2007 CR250F as posted here with the stacks from valving logic the outputs are worlds apart. I would imagine that the performance of modern suspension components isn't really worlds apart so either I'm using the tool wrong or the models aren't to the point where one can calculate absolutes, just predict the relative affect of changes.
