Recommended Posts

I recently got a 09 kx250f brand new and so far ive ridden it 2 times. tomorrow will be my 3rd time. i was having problems with going down straights on the track..the front wheel starts to go everywhere and wen im on acceleration bumps i lose traction. im not sure if i shud revalve my suspension or get new fork springs and shock spring.

thanks:ride:

Your weight will determine if you need different springs.

Rider sag could be part of what's causing the headshake. Check that first. If it's within range, try adding compression to the fork (turn the comp adjuster in). On the accelleration bumps, Kawi's are notoriously soft in the lo-speed compression valving. Add compression there to see if it helps. However, this may require revalving if you get to a point where the shock becomes harsh on other parts of the track.
