Mallard75 Posted March 25, 2010 Hello there folks. Well, I am fresh from the Honda XR forum with the keys to a new (to me) DRZ400e 2001 model. The bike has been lightly used from my observation and experience. It has had some suspension work done, which brings me to my question. The sticker on the fork says "MX Tech by D.O.C. Racing." I am 6 foot 1 and 220 pounds and wonder how far off it is. I cannot find anything on DOC Racing and MX Tech's website has no options for the DRZ per the website. Here are the specs (per the stickers): Front: Spring Rate .48 100mm oil height 14 compression 10 Rebound Rear: Spring Rate 5.6 175 PSI 12 compression 12 rebound If feels a little wobbly in slow speed turns but I can't tell why. It is a totally different animal from my XR250! Thanks in advance for your help!👍 Darren
roggiedog Posted March 25, 2010 Looks like it was setup for a guy weighing about 200-210 lbs without gear. I went to racetech.com and plugged in those weights and it came back with the .48 for the fork springs and 5.5 for the shock. Hope this helps.
Mallard75 Posted March 25, 2010 Thanks. I followed a link to racetech but could not get the calculator to work. May be safari (my browser). I appreciate that.
