Is this tire shot? (pics)

I ran around on it for a little while before I noticed the air pressure was low. I'm replacing the tube, but is this tire in decent shape, I don't really want to replace it if I don't have to. There seems to be a crack that run about half of the tire. Its not all the way through, but is pretty deep.

I would ride on it, I had one that I rode out of the woods flat, the inside threads were all separated from the tire, it worked for one more ride

Yes you can revive with the Knobby Knife Great by the way but that split in the tire is no good. You can go to any motocross track on the weekend and get a better that is being thrown out. If you were in new jersey I would give you one. The guys that said they would use it were probably kidding around.Take it off not worth taking a chance.

not kidding, I would use it, the threading that holds the tire together is not gonna be affected by that little crack

i'd use it dude, i get my tires from the dumpster anyway. what's the worst that can happen.... it stops holding air? i guess i'm a lot cheaper then most people on here...

The tube holds the air, that crack doesn't affect the chords that hold the side wall together.

sell it to one of your faster friends and buy a new one(tire not friend)

Ya I'm using it for sure. I just took the bike out and the tire seems to be holding up fine. What is the worse that could happen? flat tire

Replace it because that huge crack will cause the tire to flex way too much in corners.
