Nighthawk016 Posted March 26, 2010 I don't know how many links my 1996 RM 250 needs, can anyone help me?
Chuck. My Rides (3) Posted March 26, 2010 Probably less than 120. I have an older RM and I think it is 114. The problem is most packaged chain is sold in 10 link increments e.g. 100, 110, and 120, so your stuck buying 120 links.

Nighthawk016 Posted March 27, 2010 anyone have any idea how many links i would need with 12/52 gearing??
emerybrian Posted March 27, 2010 114 might be OK, but I'd order 116 and cut one off if needed.
williamsb27 Posted March 27, 2010 You can go to sprocketcalculator.com and enter in your data, then it should tell you what chain link you need to go by.
