just got a 04 xr400 can i add blinkers ? with-out expensive baja kits

hey want to make thos street legal but dont have the $500 for a baja kit after the purchase of the bike is there a cheap way to do this ? has front and read stock light there must be a way to just hook-up the blinkers no ?? thanxz

depends on your laws, here in michigan i only needed a brake light, licence plate light, hi/ lo beam, horn, and that was about it. i was able to built my own kit for maybe 200$ and at most 250

I use from Pep Boys small trailer running lights.I think only 2.50 ea.Cheap to replace.

2 R/C car batteries, handle bar switch and flasher unit. Put the batteries under the seat but make them assessable. Run separate circuit for turn signals from just these batteries. I wired a horn into this circuit also.
