kneehurts Posted March 27, 2010 No, the 04 seat and tank won't fit 05-07 plastics. You can get an IMS tank for 05-07. An 05-07 seat will cost you about 100 (Compete with foam and cover) from the dealer. I got mine from Halls. Some of the folks on this site that swapped their stock 05-07 tank for an IMS may also be willing to sell theirs. I got my 05 tank from a fellow TT'er for 50 bucks. Halls may still have some of the graphics kits but the graphics company has stopped making them. If I had to do it again I would probably get the Ferraci decals. Also, your 04 tank petcock will not fit an 05-07 tank (it's too long), so make sure you order one unless you get the IMS tank. The stock 05-07 petcock I received from my dealer was defective and would only flow fuel when on reserve, so watch out for that.
