110cc honda clone engine

What would cause a rebuilt auto clutch to slip. It is adjusted with the screw and shifts fine but has a lot of slip. It has heavy duty springs and a new clutch disc. It has 10w-40 oil. Have tried different weight oils but I am at a loss. Any suggestions.

Click HERE to adjust the semi-auto clutch the correct way. The Chinese engines use the same adjustment procedure as the Honda does.

Dinosaur oil, I'm wondering if I can torque the little 4 slot nut tighter to tighten things up?

You don't want to tighten the clutch hub nut any tighter than torque specs, doing so will crush the bushing that rides inside the final drive gear behind the clutch basket. It is part #5 in the diagram below.
