Powder coat or paint, or just leave it? The GSXR aluminum housing is coated/anodized to reduce corrosion. Once you sand it off it looks different in that area. I have seen a black one someone did. I don't know if he just painted it or what. Looked pretty cool though. You could probably remove the coating and having it anodized any color. silver_q2002 Posted March 29, 2010 i just painted my stock dr350 exhaust with a header paint it was black they had red too.. i think close to 10 bucks a can 1300-2000fireproof degree rating.. im sure it would work for your too.. my buddy had his exhaust painted on his 07 z 1000 he found a blue can of it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
