Knocking noise from clutch ?

Hi folks,there is a nocking noise coming from my clutch when i pull the lever in,,is this normal?

i have the bike a month and never noticed it before

well this is a while ago lol

i inspected the clutch at the time and everything was ok.

i have rode the bike all season and everything is good.

It must of just been in my head lol :ride:

(it was only a small knocking noise when i pulled the clutch in)...

must of been normal

Probably the plates are a bit worn at the tabs that connect with the basket (or the basket is worn). When you pull in the clutch, spring tension is taken off the clutch, letting it get loose and rattle a bit.

you could be right,but at the time my bike had less than 4 hours on it,

but everything has been fine for me.

You are talking about clutch "judder" its normal and everybike exibits a different amount. Some manufacturers like Honda for instance, use "judder springs" to reduce this noise, but its not harmfull and all bikes do it...
