Rm80 rear shock ??'s

Just picked up a cheap 1985 RM80 for my daughter, it has 86+ plastics on it, will be going back to 85' soon though. But what I wanted to know is if later year rear shocks will fit the frame. The 85 is shot and I am looking for a good replacement. She's 5'5" 120lbs, I'd like it to be comfortable for her, but respond properly too. Lots of 90's shocks on ebay now.

Why not rebuild it? You could buy a used one and run into the same problem. If it's shot, you can't do any harm. Just search how to do it, it's not that hard. Just make sure you release the pressure before tearing apart. Be sure to get the correct spring for her weight.
