07 rear linkage - help with bolts

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to replace the stock rear linkage arm with a pro circuit. How the heck do I get the bolts off the rear linkage? Those are on so tight. I tried an air ratchet but no luck. Are these reverse threaded? Any suggestions?

You need 2 wrenches, one on each side. Yes they are tight but they will come. Air ratchet will never undo them, it can only put out maybe 35ftlbs of torque. Use a actual ratchet or wrench. Cheers man

yes those guys are on tight - looks like I'll need a breaker bar as I tried the ratchets/wrenches.

soak them in some penetrating oil and use the breaker bar. Sounds like they got a little tight on ya. Sometimes tight isn't a good thing, ahahahahahahha. Cheers

Normal threads. Since so tight or corroded then perhaps you should take everything apart on the link and rocker, and re-pack all bearings properly.

i mean tight threads, so perhaps also dry bearings.

got it by eating several power bars - consume 1/2 hr before working on bike and they came off real easy. 👍
