How to set sag?

Recommended Posts

I have a 1998 suzuki rm125. It has fully stock suspension. The rear shock has been rebuilt, which I recently purchased off ebay. The front forks are the old conventional style. I weigh about 175lbs and i'm 5'-11''. I have some expierience setting street bike sag, and was looking for some help on doing my dirt bike.

that is a great article to help you.

Depending on what kind of bike i'm on, I set up my sag a bit differant... but 100 MM or 4 inches is standard sag for a motocross bike with 11 inches or more of rear travel

For the forks, you either have to put new springs in, or play with oil levels and viscocities.
