2005 TE250: what should be done for 6.000 km / 3.800 mile service?

Hello,

Tomorrow I am dropping my TE250 at the dealer for service.

I bought the bike one year ago and took it to a guy who is a KTM dealer but has some experience with Husqvarnas. He changed all the fluids, checked compression (was ok) and valves (intake was a bit tight).

Since then I have changed oil and filter each 500 km / 300 miles but last time it was a bit short of oil.

Except tires and battery, everything on the bike is original.

This is the list I am giving to the mechanic, if any of you can think of something else, please let me know.

To change:

oil, oil filter, air filter

To check:

brake pads, wheel bearings, transmission, engine compression, valves

Do the oil filter and oil change your self. These guys charg by the hour. You could ask them to clean the carb for you if you are unsure.

I have done it before, but the bike is in a communal garage and there are no conditions to work there.
