busted50 Posted March 30, 2010 my 50 quit running! i checked the plug and it looked fine. no spark. re gapped it to .020" no good. changed it. and nothing. checked all the wiring. changed the coil/wire from a running 50. changed CDI boxes and nothing. what could be the deal? this is driving me nuts. and before anyone says it YES THE KEY WAS ON!!. lol. JandJ07 Posted March 30, 2010 I'm not sure of the actual resistance as I do not have a repair manual. I would check to make sure that it does not have an open...or swap it out with your buddies. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
50addict Posted August 30, 2010 I'm having the same exact problem I sprayed some grease it the conections for the cdi box and I get alittle spark but then I put the plug back In and nothing so I guess its my cdi box or is it my stator? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
