Bogging down upon initial start up...

Hey guys,

My bike is running sweet, standard with a slip on pipe and 5 hours on the engine.

The first 5 mins of running the engine, it bogs down/ dies if i touch the throttle without the choke on, is this normal?

Runs great when it has been running for 5 minutes or more

Bike shop said that sounds normal but i'm having second thoughts on that as it never did it before and no-one elses bike at the track does it as bad as mine......

Any ideas would be good

Its a pain in the ass if im late to the gate!

my bike has the stock pipe and is lean.. It needs a few minutes to warm up or the same happens... but once it is warm it is very crisp.. so you are probably very lean.
