IMS 2.6 color and fitting question with SDG seat

I'm thinking of buying an IMS 2.6g fuel tank. I've read some things on the forum that it doesn't fit on the drz400sm and that i need to make a bracket to bolt the back of the tank on the frame. Is this the only thing that I need to do to make it fit? Doesn't the tank interfere with the radiators? And finally lol will this tank fit with an SDG step-up seat,

forgot one more thing. The color of the ims tank on the yoshimura bike:worthy:, is it white or transculent?

Here's a thread where I put a 2.6 on my S, I had to make a bracket to hold the back of the tank down. As Eddie points out in the second post you don't need to make the spacers like I did. Sorry, I can't answer about the seat.

Thats cool, but whats the point of the IMS 2.6 gallon tank? the stock tank is 2.6 gallons so why not buy the IMS 3.2 gallon instead?

Lowers where the weight of the fuel is being held, flattens out the seat for better positioning, and IMHO it looks bitchin' too ?

So you have to make mounts and do some mods to mount this tank to a S, but what about an E model? is it just a simple mount up job to an E or are mods required with it too?
