YAMAHAAAAAA Posted March 31, 2010 just picked up a clean 2006 yz250 for $2850:p, but i need a service manual before i start tearing anything apart. before i dish out 80 bucks for one from the dealer, i figured i would check ebay. i found one listed as "Yamaha Shop Service Repair Manual YZ250 W1 5/06" for about half of what the dealer wanted. On the cover of the manual it reads "YZ250W1" I also downloaded a pdf version where under machine name it reads "YZ250V" my question is: what are the variations in model name for? as far as i know they only made 1 250 2t that year, but i just want to make sure i buy the correct manual. help:confused:
mdkcrf250r Posted April 1, 2010 the pdf manual you downloaded for the YZ250V is the right book for your model. (although getting a manual from 06-10 would be virtually the same) The manual I got with my bike looked like it was a hundred years old since the PO didnt bother wiping his hands before opening it...
