husky390or Posted April 1, 2010 What kind of skid plates are you using on your 450's?
rjcook450 Posted April 1, 2010 I run the gytr enduro skid plate, great protection of lower fram and water pump.
FinchFan194 Posted April 1, 2010 I bought the GYT-R skid plate not the enduro one mentioned above. I don't reccomend it though the quality of the materials and the craftmanship was terrible. I want to ge a Devol offroad skid plate next.
rjcook450 Posted April 1, 2010 wow that sucks, no problem with mine, of course it is different, what was the problem with yours?
husky390or Posted April 1, 2010 I looked at the Devol and like the fact that it's wider than the Works connection model.

FinchFan194 Posted April 1, 2010 wow that sucks, no problem with mine, of course it is different, what was the problem with yours? The front two mounts(the billet inserts) were too wide so I had to auger them out and the rear insert is too deep so I had to auger that one out too:bonk: the bike was new when it went on only one "break in" ride on it. dvn Posted April 2, 2010 Thanks guy's, Devol it is. Got it on order at the TH store. Just be prepared for the increase in reflected engine noise. You'll get used to it after a while but it may be somewhat surprising at first. 👍
rmcr250r Posted April 2, 2010 ive got the works connection one. The protection is good but it doesnt cover the entire frame rails. So my frame rails have little chips on the edge that is exposed which really pisses me off.
