2002 cr 125 questions???

Recommended Posts

You can pretty much run anything in the tranny. I personally use ATF and love the performance. I probably change it every 2 rides. You mix the "engine" oil in the gas via 2t oil. Just pick your favorite kind and mix it up. Most people mix anywhere from 32:1 - 40:1. But I am sure you will hear all kinds of different opinions because everyone is always right.

I would suggest that you get a manual, it sounds like you need one.

I use ATF Type F and it is only a couple bucks a bottle. But whatever you use in the tranny of your 250f would work just fine too.

And definitely premix in the gas... ha ha

Right now, I am using Maxima Super M, but once that is gone I want to try Amsoil.

so can i run gtx 2t oil? from auto zone?

Yes get an owners manual.

Your 2-stroke doesnt have engine/motor oil. The only oil you need is transmission/gear oil and 2-stroke oil to mix in your gas.

I prefer honda oils.

You fill this into your casing untill it purges out the "full" screw hole.

Honda recommends 32:1 ratio. So, start at 32:1 then adjust to your preference from there.

Also, get a new avatar for the CR-125. LOL
