Need some help on jetting the new carb

Recommended Posts

I'm getting the 95 kit for my 80 in the mail in a couple days and I have no idea what size jets to run in the carb. Here are the specs on what will be on the bike..

The bike is a 2000 with these mods:

powroll 95 kit

FMF pipe

XR100 carb/boot/manifold

UNI filter with mesh removed from filter housing

Snorkle removed with holes drilled in airbox

If someone could give me a few main and pilot jets to play with that would be great!!

Thanks in advance,

Nathan

100-105 main, 38-40 pilot. Don't forget about the needle.

Ok thank you. Should I just run it with the needle clip in each position and whatever position gets it running the best stick with that one?

I went to a local cycle shop today and picked up a 110 main jet cuz that's the only one they had. I got a UNI pod filter too so i'll be using that. Also, is there supposed to be an air mixture screw on the 100 carb? Mine doesn't have one and I think I got a knock-off carb.

BUMP..I should be getting my 95 kit in the mail today. My carb says ISO performance on it so I guess it is a cheap knock-off..Do these perform worse than the actual 100 carbs?
