Which shift lever with E-Line stator?

Recommended Posts

I bought an IMS for my first one with my Eline.. Made it about four rides 🤣 So, Ive since modified my OEM lever... I mounted it in a vice and use a large box end wrench for leverage.. I make several small bends and try to fit every so often to see how close I am.. Ive never broken one modifying, or riding after modification 👍

I'm running the E-Line secondary stator and now realize my stock shifter hits it. I seem to remember there was a specific Moose unit that was recommended?

Any suggestions?

Get the stock shifter from a 06 07 yz450. Fits nice and its gen yamaha so it won't come loose like the aftermarket stuff does for some reason for me.

I'm running the same set up .

I run a OEM YZ 85 steel shift lever on mine. I cut it and add about 1" to the angled part of the lever. This clears the eline and lengthens the lever by about 12mm. Being steel and OEM part it is as strong as hell.
