Kawasaki Mule Stator Replacement. Any Comments?

I am replacing the stator on a Kawasaki mule for a friend of mine in a few days and I was wondering if there is anything specific I need to look for or pay attention to. I have never worked on a utv before but have replaced other stators. The mule is somewhere between a 1999 - 2003 I'm not sure. If this makes a big difference I can find out for sure.

Kawasaki.com, under the Owner Info tab, includes instructions on how to find the year and model of your Mule. They also have an excellent parts diagram section.

To your question, the stator is a snap to replace.

If you run into snags, Kawasakimotorcycle.org/forum has the best Mule forum on the net. A lot of technical help for such a specialized product.
