how to replace fork damper seal?

can somebody give me the steps for replacing the blue damper rod seal on showa forks off a 2001 cr250, so far i know you have to drill out the dimples and remove the allen bolt, what im not sure of is do you need to drive that seal in or any additional steps. thanks for any help.

You'll need to pry out the old one (carefully with a blunt instrument) and the new one you can just press in with a socket or something suitable. It is only a small seal so it is not very tight. When you push the damper rod though the new seal, put Teflon tape over the threads and the a thin layer of grease. This will stop any tearing of the seal.?
