lowering oil level with out disasembly

Hi, I've got a 07' 525 xc-w with eastcoast suspension revalve for the rocks of ne pa. Last year I did fork seals and set the oil height at 160mm and although bottoming resistance is good its not as plush as before. Not sure what John set them at but was wondering is there a reference on cc's versus mm's like say 25 cc's equals 10mm of fork oil. I don't plan on taking forks apart just squirting some oil out of bleed hole thanks.

Just pop the caps off and dump some oil out into a container, pour off how much you want to remove and then pour the rest back in.

The whole idea is to not take the caps off but the air bleed screws. I just finished up and I took 50cc's out of each leg, hoping that works out to 25-35 mm's of oil height.

I could sworn that I've seen something made for this already... Yea... here it is.

That is an awsome tool but that is for setting oil height with springs pulled and forks collapsed. Won't work for my deal, thanks any how.
