dhub Posted April 7, 2010 Does anyone make a dualsport kit for MX bikes that are just powered by a battery. I have an 09 YZ250F and want to get it plated so I can race enduros. I just need the lights and directionals to work long enough to pass inspection. I would rather not put a stator in if there is another way. Thanks
panaman Posted April 7, 2010 you will probably have to get a stator

dhub Posted April 10, 2010 I am leaning towards Sicass Racing. They can build me a kit that is just run by battery. It will only run for an hour but that is plenty to get me past inspection. Plus it will be easy to install on future bikes.
Goebz My Ride Posted April 11, 2010 Try Wheeling Cycle supply too, they have very inexpensive components that are top notch and Forrest has a lot of Know-how wrenching on bikes. It would be the least expensive option. Are you just looking to pass inspection and then take everything off?
dhub Posted April 13, 2010 Yeah, I will be taking it off after it passes inspection. I have a cheap headlight and taillight (that won't light up) that I will put on for racing. So I guess the least expensive option would be best. I will give wheeling a call today.
