ZaneTrain13 Posted April 8, 2010 The other day I wrecked my bike and it broke one on the hose fittings for my sub tanks. I tried to identify what type of sub tanks they were but I could not find what kind they were. So I just ordered some bleeders to plug the holes where the sub tank holes were. Am I going to notice a in performance from my forks? I have a 2004 CRF450 just got fresh 5W oil in my forks with factory connection springs, I am thinking I will little to no change at all. mxneagle Posted April 8, 2010 Well the oil level setting when using subtanks is higher then without them so you will need to re-set the oil level accordingly. The subtanks do make a noticable difference on the bikes I have tested with. The idea is that they give you a low oil level feel (plush) over the low speed stuff but act like high oil levels on the big hits.
