2008 TTR 250 Spark Plug trouble

I recently change the spark plug over from the original which was a NGK CR9e to a NGK C8E, now the bike seem to be lacking the power it had before the change, any help is appreciated

At this point I hate to ask, but why did you change to begin with? Did it run too well?
