CascadeTrails Posted April 8, 2010 If anyone is thinking about riding the Hood River Trails any time soon, you may want to look elsewhere. We have snow down to 2000 ft. BH has snow, KR has 2 ft., even PM has snow. Hood River County has asked riders to wait for the snow to melt. I will post here when it opens back up.

CascadeTrails Posted April 8, 2010 What the heck??? Buddy was up at PM yesterday dualsporting and said no snow? We have had snow here off and on all day at 2000 ft. with more forecasted for tonight. We are still fixing the ruts from the riders that rode in the snow last winter. The County plans to close the trails this winter thanks to the actions of a few. If we could only find a local farm in the area that would like to open his gates to knobby furrows........I doubt the 'ditch witchers' would go hang out there and stay off the trails! CascadeTrails Posted April 11, 2010 BH and KR still have a lot of snow as of Saturday. PM has only the lower 6 miles of trails open. The Boulders and the Powerline Trail still have a lot of snow. It should be OK next week, if it warms up.
