smooth, less power on 505 xc-f

Recommended Posts

I would like to have a little less, smooth power on my 505 xc-f 2009.

Is it enough just to reduce the end cap of silencer?

Any other suggestion?

Thanks

Not sure if I would choke the engine off with any type end cap quite yet... If you are like most then I'm guessing the lower throttle settings are beating you up.

Try a flywheel weight and something like a G2 throttle cam to start with. Those two mods worked well on my SX-F. Proper jetting also plays a major factor on power delivery... Try messing with the jetting and maybe add an adjustable leak jet...

You're on the softer ignition curve, yes?

If so, fly wheel weight or some guys use heavier clutch plates too.
