Fly_Racing Posted April 9, 2010 I have a 2003 Suzuki Rm 125 I ride at about 20m above sea level. Temperature ranges from 25 degrees celcius in winter through to 40 degrees celcius in Summer. I doesn't rain very often here and I don't like to ride in rain therefore no humidty exteremes. I normally ride motocross track or trails. I don't have any modifications. I have stock main jet at 460 but I havn't had time to check pilot as I have been told is only for idling. I just want prefect jetting for the bike.
aakmetz Posted April 9, 2010 what does your plug look like colorwise, and are you having any poor running issues?
Fly_Racing Posted April 9, 2010 It feels like it run's right but I switched it from a 540 main to a 460 main so any jet would've felt like a difference. I checked the plug and noticed it was oily and a carbon build up.
aakmetz Posted April 10, 2010 put in a fresh plug, and do some throttle chops and recheck it, throttle chop= run up through the gears at mostlly wide open throttle, then in high gear, kill the engine and roll to a stop, pull the plug and see what color it is.
