wondering how tall u have to be to ride a 250 and touch the groung with both feet how much can yo u get from trimming the seat

you dont need to be able to touch the ground (it sure helps tho), I had a friend whos 5'3 and rides a 250f, whenever she stops or starts she uses blocks if she has to

I would say 5 foot 6 or 7inches is a good height. I had mine when I was 5 foot 8 inches and I liked it. Im now 6 foot 1 and when I stand I have a few inches between by butt and the seat I think.

I'm 5'7" and shaved the seat a good 1-1.25" and had the suspension lowered 1" and I can touch my toes with both feet, but not flat foot.

I was working on Mike Willards old 09 KX250F and noticed that on the sub frame legs that bolted to the lower part of the frame had been ovaled out to lower the rear of the bike. It looked like the overall height dropped about an inch. The seat was replaced so I'm not sure if it was cut also. Between a couple of different mods, you can get the rear of the bike lowered. Obviously, you can drop the front forks into the triple clamps a bit to lower the front. When you drop the front or rear, you lose some clearance between the fender and the tire. If you're a big jumper and not always perfect on the landings, you'll find burn marks from the tires inside of your fenders.

i'm 6' 3" and when both my feet are flat on the ground, my butt isn't on the seat... 👍 kinda like a bear riding a tricycle, but it's so much fun and i don't have much desire for a ton more power... 🤣
