n16ht5 Posted April 11, 2010 Hey I have an 87 xr250... I do a lot of riding in the snow and I need wider tires.. anyone know the max tire size that won't hit the swingarm? I bet I could ride 2ft of snow with those! don't get the terror-flex. it has had a lot of sketchy reviews. you could probably fit at the most a 120/100 (140/80) in there. I saw a guy up a walker valley that had laced an 18" rim to his front hub and had a 3.50" knobby on it. just barely cleared the forks, but i be it floated well.
