luto14 Posted April 11, 2010 installed new clutch cover just wanted to know the Ft pounds of tork on bolts and is there a easy way to fill gear oil OMG it takes forever
TDW Posted April 11, 2010 manual says 7 ft lbs for clutch cover bolts. The best and fastest way is by removing the crankshaft hole cap(on RS of the engine next to the cluitch cover) and pour in the gear oil-might have to tilt the bike to the side alittle to get it full. I second that. But do not put that plug back in too tight. I cracked mine last night. got a new one ordered.
