Picked up a new old bike- 89 kx125

good condition both chassis and tranny wise, but he seized up the top end (hoping thats all) how do these bikes ride? I know more about the early year hondas and such but the kawis are a new thing to me.. anyone with any input would be awesome! thanks:thumbsup:

GEEEEZ! I hate it when someone post questions in the vintage forum for what i consider a 'newer' bike.

Yer makin me feel old!!! Stop that!!

ok...i'm done...bitchn' Look close for frame cracks,i remember the 84-88 had major frame issues (at our shop) back then.Not real sure on the 89..

Riding those bikes... pretty sure the 'older' (sorry scalejockey) 125's were either on or off with the powerband.... sure they could be putted around if you want but they are not well-suited for putting. They were designed for racing and they are very fast when ridden hard. Can't give you any particulars on the KX. But I'm sure it's a blast.

i am well older than this bike. Heck I graduated HS 2 years after this bike was built..
