California Eldorado National Forest likely closed (seasonal) a bit longer

I called them and they aren't 100% sure it will open in the "middle of the month" like they claimed earlier when they had the first delay.

If anybody knows any insider info please do tell. I've been wanting to plan an outing for this month and I want to do PiPi if possible.
