New Top End

just got my 1996 CR 250 out of the shop went to the tracks over the weekend and my rear fender got covered in sludge from the exhaust

they put a new top end on and cleaned my carb (no jetting)

before i go yellin my head off at people

what is causing this?

i think the muffler is do for a repack if that's what it will take

i run 36-1 mix

Did you, or someone else, change your jetting and/or mix ratio? Is your air filter over oiled?

Crank seal

really cause i had the bottom end done last year (new crank and rod) and i would think it would all still be golden

i been runnin the same jetts and mix for 2 seasons no probs till now

and yea my filter mayb over oiled i am off to check now

air filter was to oily i think ill get a new one and hit the tracks next weekend to see if it fixes the problem

if not than i am goin to yell at the shop who worked on it

Repack your silencer before you do anything else. Fresh gas and oil too.
