Matt @ TTs KZ750 Bobber Project

Recommended Posts

Ive been riding dirt since I was a kid but my younger brother recently got me into the bobbers. He has a built Triump Bonnie thats awesome which got me interested.

To stay reliable and cheap I got a Japanese bike. Its a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750E. The bike was in decent shape when I got it and it ran great. I picked it up for $300 off some kooky guy. Couldn't beat that deal. The motor and carbs were in great shape. Once that was all figured out and squared, we started breaking it down and chopping stuff off.

The hard tail was done different. The frame is odd and didn't lend to your traditional normal looking bobber look. This is way different as you can see. The chain barely has clearance but it does. There is a lot of work to do but its coming along nicely.
