Possible for a FMF factory 4.1 to pass 96db?

hey guys,

i am a new proud owner of a '07 kx450. the bike is amazing! anyways, when i got the bike, they guy put a a brand new factory 4.1 with a megabomb header on. so the packing is still good. but it is WAY to loud. so i put a old insert from a Q4 in it just to take the edge off. i have been looking on line and havent found anything. so is there any insert that will quiet the pipe down to 96db? oh and i will need a sparkarrestor with it.

My son has the 4.1 on his kx 250f. Now I know you can get quiet inserts from FMF. you can get different diameters I believe. the only bad thing the S/A is a piece by itself. So you couldnt use a s/a and a quiet insert at the same time.

oh ok. thanks for the help. so they sell quiet cores/insert made just for the 4.1? im just going to call FMF and i will report back here and tell you what they said.

yeah the quiet insert looks like a tube that goes down into the muffler. A local rider borrowed mine and never gave it back I would send it to ya.

check out the db dawg and spark arrestor insert if you like. The arrestor is not USFS legal though but most checks involve a stick really.
