blackcrf250 Posted June 6, 2010 Hi everyone, I am newly registered at the forum although I've been reading it for months now. I can only say it's no doubt a great community with loads of very knowledgeable members. I have a bit of a worry regarding my crf 250. At idle it makes this loud clicking sound ( that seems to be coming from the air filter hole). If I give it a bit of throttle it stops immediately. Also if I adjust the idle to less or more it stops, so it's only at a very specific idle speed. Anyone has any idea what this might be on a 4 stroke. I read about kips but mainly 2 strokes, could this be it on my 4 stroke. Any help would be great as I'm very worried because the bike just came from servicing 3 hours ago and I'm kind of broke for a big repair 👍. Thanks

blackcrf250 Posted June 6, 2010 https://thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=870221&highlight=its+normal all crf's do it. Is there a way to confirm this really is it? Any thing I should look for ( or listen in this case?) Thanks
