I have been riding jap bikes for over 10 years and really like the KYB's on my yz 250 2stroke and before that I rode KTM's with Marzocchi's which were just ok both 45mm and 50mm and the suspension is my biggest concern I also know the Sach's shock isn't the best as Zip-Ty's team just switched to a different brand can't remember WP?. Lindsay90 Posted June 8, 2010 I just got off a YZ450F and had other jap bikes before that. Well I just got me a new 09 TE 450 and love the bike to death. Yes the forks are way diffrent from what I was used to but man do they eat up the bumps on the trails. I would say this, if you are looking for a bike to do some trail riding and no racing I would get the 09 but if you are a hardcore rider that will push the bike fast I would do the '10 due to the KYB. As for anything else diffrent I think the '10 has the stickers molded into the plastic so you do not have to worry about kicking them off when you pressure wash the bike. But other than that all is the same great bike. The 09 saved me some $$ so I was able to buy gear and other things for the bike. Hope I helped a little good luck. Are you comparing '09 to '10? Or are you comparing huskys to other makes? If you're asking the former question, there are only a handful of guys who have direct experience with both.
