slo rider Posted June 7, 2010 So during yesterday's harescramble my bike ('06 250SXF) stopped running about 1/2 a mile from the finish. No loss of power. No odd noises. Just bogged and died when I gave it gas and wouldn't re-start. Thankfully it was an easy push back to the pits🤣 Took the gas tank off today hoping to find a wire short or something easy. The"Y" pipe between the upper radiator hoses had pretty much disintegrated 👍 I drained the oil and it definitely smells burnt, but there weren't any metal fragments on the magnet. I noticed the site glass is cracked, probably from the motor getting hot. My plan of attach is to start by doing a compression test and then just tearing into it.
